Our XNR-400 MFR Melt Flow Index Tester is designed to measure the melt flow index of polymer materials in accordance with ISO 1133, ASTM D1238, and ASTM D3364 standards. It is an essential tool for evaluating the fluidity, viscositas, and other physical properties of plastics in their molten state.
This tester utilizes a high-temperature heating furnace to melt the test material under controlled temperature conditions. The molten material is then extruded through a specified diameter hole under a prescribed load. The melt mass flow rate, expressed in grams per 10 minutes, is calculated based on the weight of the extruded sample segments.
